Still In-Progress

Alexander Kai Vargas (19 Years Old)

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting the words on paper. Or in this case, the words typed on to a screen. I want this to be like, the perfect essay. It’s just not…

Alex. Brother. I love you, I miss you, and I forgive you. I understand you were haluncinating off shrooms that you had taken at home alone. I’m sorry. This isn’t how the world should remember Alexander Vargas. I hope your Soul has found peace. While I am not sure about an afterlife, I hope you are together with your family. Say hello to Uncle Wayne, my Uncle Jason, Grandaddy, and Papa.

Outside of a Call of Duty lobby, Mr. Alexander was a respectable person. Sir, Ma’am, Please, and Thank you were the core of his vocabulary. He would hold the door and was always the first to lend a hand.

He was clean. When he came to visit and spend the night or weekend he would always do my dishes. He would offer to cook pretty much every night…

He worked hard. The kid was going to be a rockstar skilled tradesman. He spent the last summer working for Dave and really put in the effort. Dave told us Alex is the best employee he had ever hired. This is important because Dave has been in business for 20+ years and is retiring this year. He has had his fair share of employees.

Born: Saturday July 2nd 2005.
